Corona Virus Updates

Dayton School District Staff, Students, Families, and Community:

As we continue to emphasize, the guidelines during this COVID-19 pandemic crisis are always evolving. Today we received the most detailed guidance yet from the Oregon Department of Education (ODE). We will continue to provide supplemental learning activities while we make a plan to provide equitable distance learning for all students in our district. With that, ODE is also signaling that there is a strong possibility that we may not be returning to normal schooling this academic year. We, as a district, will be looking at what all of this means for our students, staff, and Dayton community.

Please stay current as this situation evolves, continue to visit our website ( and Facebook pages for information. We also want to share the resources available from the Oregon Department of Education at

Thank you,
