Water Restriction and Sports Fields– The Dayton School District is cooperating and complying with the City’s Outdoor Watering Restriction, however we want to inform our community that we are utilizing our own district wells to water our fall sports practice field on the Jr. High/High School campus.  The field needs to be watered to soften it to prevent injuries to our student athletes.  As we near the start of the school year, we also may begin watering the playfield behind the Grade School.  In an effort to share in the community sacrifice and to preserve our resources, we will not be utilizing our district well water for any other watering (lawns in front of schools, other fields, etc.).  Thank you for your understanding.  Our first priority will always be the safety of our kids.

District Calendar and State Report Cards
2017-2018 Academic Calendar revised 6-13-2017

The revised academic calendar reflects the add back of three furlough days based on positive changes in State funding for K-12 education.  Changes to the calendar can be difficult for families so the District wants to give you as much time as possible to add these school days.  A full school year calendar is better for our students.  The days added are: January 2, 2018; March 2, 2018; and May 25, 2018.  These dates are reflected in the attached calendar.

Oregon State Report Cards 2015-2016
